Customs and Immigration

Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique

Grenada has 4 ports of entry:

St George’s – in the Port Louis Complex behind the administration office, conveniently placed and a short dinghy/bus ride or walk from our welcome venue, Grenada Yacht Club.

Prickly Bay Marina – above the convenience store close to the dock

Le Phare Bleu Marina – opposite the restaurant

St David’s Bay – in the Grenada Marine Services complex

Carriacou has 2 ports of entry:

Hillsborough – in the immigration office at the Police Station behind the Grenada Tourism Office

Tyrell Bay – At Carriacou Marine at the far end of Tyrell Bay.


Customs and immigration offices at marine bases are generally open from 0800 to 1200 and 1300 to 1600 hours, Monday to Friday.

For the convenience of both officer and client, MAYAG suggests attending the office by 1500 to complete formalities before the end of the working day (1600)

Grenada is one of the countries that offers the SailClear optional service for use by yachts and other pleasure craft operators who wish to submit their Customs declarations in the form of electronic notifications, prior to arrival. Check their website: http://sailclear.com/
