Jason Fletcher – President
Jason was born and raised on Grenada and his love of boating started when he participated in sailing programs run by Grenada Yacht Club. After school he bought himself a small fishing boat and started fishing commercially which led him into selling fish then building and buying commercial fishing trawlers. He found himself selling fuel and offering general services to visiting yachts, all the while running his own fleet of fishing boats. After a few deals on marine properties fell through, he found a perfect spot in St. Davids and along with some close friends and family members he set up Grenada Marine in 1998. Now Grenada Marine is one of the leading boatyards in Grenada offering full services to visiting yachts. He is renowned for his professionalism and his love of sailing and fishing.
Dawn Decoteau - Vice President & Maritime Law
Dawn is an experienced legal pratitioner with practices in both the UK and Grenada. She is an expert in Maritime Law which was her specialism when studying for her Masters. She is an asset to the MAYAG board.
Danny Donelan - Secretary
Danny was the Assistant Manager at Port Louis Marina in Grenada for the last 10 years but has recently opened his own yacht charter company Savvy Grenada Sailing Charters (www.sailingsavvy.com) where he puts on charters in Grenada and the Grenadines for guests aboard his 43ft locally built Petite Martinique Sloop
He races extensively all over the Caribbean from Grenada to Carriacou, to St Lucia to Bequia to Antigua and St Barths. Every year Savvy takes part in a UNESCO sponsored Market Day in Gustavia where they bring art, craft, Grenada Chocolates and a variety of goods from local artisans to St Barths to sell and reconnect with the old time traditions of using sail for trade. Savvy uses local fishermen and boat-builders as their crew to help give a true authentic experience to anyone sailing on Savvy. He is also a Director on the GTA and an avid sportsman.

Patrick Brathwaite – Marine Protected Areas
Patrick is Grenadian born and a sailing enthusiast. His interest in sailing is more than social. He is manager of Island Water World in Grenada and with several investments in the marine sector (Grenada Marine and Shadowfax), he sees the future of sailing and Grenada as one.

Karen Stiell – Secretariat
Karen is the Regatta Manager for Grenada Sailing Week. She has lived in Grenada since 2003 and brings a wealth of project management / consultancy experience gained during her time working for a major international HR consultancy in the United Kingdom. She consults with a variety of government and private sector organisations in Grenada, as well as running a tourist business, and website design agency. She is passionate about yachting, sailing and the marine industry in Grenada.
